Former US president Invoice Clinton, 75, was admitted two days in the past to a hospital in California with a “non-covid an infection,” his spokesman has mentioned.
“On Tuesday night Former President Invoice Clinton was admitted to UCI Medical middle for therapy of a non-covid
an infection,” spokesman Angel Urena mentioned on Twitter.
“He’s on the mend, in good spirits, and extremely grateful to the docs, nurses and employees offering him with wonderful care.”
Two docs treating Mr Clinton mentioned he was “admitted to the hospital for shut monitoring and administered IV antibiotics and fluids.”
The joint assertion from Dr Alpesh Amin and Dr Lisa Bardack added: “He stays on the hospital for steady monitoring.
“After two days of therapy, his white blood cell depend is trending down and he’s responding to antibiotics properly.
“We hope to have him go house quickly.”
CNN reported that Mr Clinton was within the intensive care unit, primarily to provide him privateness, and his situation just isn’t associated to his earlier coronary heart issues.
Mr Clinton, a Democrat, was president from 1993-2001.
