On social media, Wallen issued a public apology to his followers following this occurrence. Even though Wallen had expressed regret for his behavior, he would subsequently face another controversy.

Previously unseen footage of Morgan drinking at a bar in Alabama has surfaced. Even if Wallen hadn’t been wearing a mask or observing social distance standards, his actions wouldn’t have been problematic. It was then parodied on the show when Wallen appeared as himself in a segment about the incident.

Morgan apologized profusely for his behavior almost immediately. Nothing could have made up for the lack of effort. Radio stations around the country stopped playing Wallen’s songs, and his contract with his record label has been terminated indefinitely. In addition, several prestigious country music prizes have disqualified his most recent CD.
