On this version we’re zoning in on LGBT rights within the EU. During the last two years, greater than 100 native authority areas in Poland have been declared “LGBT-free zones”, that means they’re now not allowed to encourage tolerance in the direction of LGBT individuals, or give monetary help to rights teams that achieve this. In response to that, a majority of European lawmakers just lately declared your complete EU to be an “LGBTIQ Freedom Zone”. The declaration itself is symbolic. So what may it imply for LGBT individuals within the 27 member states? We focus on the difficulty with two MEPs.
