Not too long ago, Center Jap migrants have amassed in Belarus in a bid to cross to EU member states Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. President Alexander Lukashenko’s dictatorship is accused of flying them in intentionally, with a view to stoke tensions in retaliation for EU sanctions. In the meantime, these sanctions seem like having little impact on Lukashenko’s willpower to crush dissent.
