Chicago Fire Season 11 Release Date: When Will It Come Out?

Chicago Fire, along with Med and PD, airs in the same time slot every week. Following a lengthy hiatus, season 11 is expected to premiere in September of 2022. The exact date of a new season’s premiere is usually kept under wraps until the current season has finished airing, so we’ll keep you updated as we get closer.

At least six of the ten Chicago Fire seasons aired in September, with the bulk of those episodes airing near the month’s end. In general, the show airs on the last Wednesday of the month; therefore, season 11 should arrive on September 28 if the current trend continues.

Despite this, there have been exceptions to the rule. Season one of Chicago Fire premiered on October 10, 2012, and seasons four and five followed suit by establishing contact before Halloween. It’s reasonable to assume that, given the lack of recent use, this approach of planning won’t be implemented this year.

The 10th incarnation of Fire was notable since it was the only one to occur in November. Covid-19, as well as difficulties in putting out software while adhering to security regulations, were to blame for this. Season 9 only had 16 episodes because of the pandemic-related worries; this is the fewest episode ever for a single season.
